Location: Leeds\nPay Rate: £110 - £150 per day\nContract Type: Full Time\nDuration: Long Term\nStart Date: ASAP\n\nPastoral Outreach Manager – Supporting Learners to Succeed\n\nPK Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated and proactive Pastoral Outreach Manager to join a supportive Secondary/SEND setting in Leeds. This rewarding long-term opportunity is ideal for an individual with experience supporting vulnerable and disengaged learners, working closely with families, and helping students overcome barriers to education.\n\nThe successful candidate will play a key role in improving attendance, promoting positive behaviour, and strengthening relationships between the school, students, and their families to ensure every learner has the opportunity to achieve their full potential.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nSupporting students who are at risk of disengagement from education\nImplementing attendance intervention strategies to improve school attendance\nProviding pastoral and behavioural support to students across the setting\nBuilding positive relationships with students, parents, carers, and external agencies\nConducting outreach work and supporting reintegration plans where required\nPromoting restorative approaches to behaviour and conflict resolution\nMonitoring student progress and identifying appropriate support strategies\nWorking collaboratively with teaching staff and safeguarding teams\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n\nExperience in attendance intervention and pastoral support\nA background in outreach work within education, youth services, or similar settings\nExperience supporting students with behavioural, social, emotional, or additional needs\nKnowledge and understanding of restorative practice approaches\nStrong communication and relationship-building skills\nExperience working with families and external support agencies\nA passion for supporting vulnerable and disengaged learners\n\nWhat PK Education Offer:\n\nCompetitive daily rates of pay\nDedicated consultant support throughout your placement\nOpportunities for professional development and career progression\nA rewarding role making a positive impact on young people's lives\nLong-term opportunities within supportive educational environments\nPK Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
