We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly self-motivated Mechanical Engineer/Quarry plant services engineer to complement an established and successful team, working on a large new project that our client has been commissioned to deliver. We are looking for team-players, who will work to the highest standards in problem solving, fault-finding, service and repair functions on Terex, Telestack, quarry crushing and screening plant, yellow construction plant of various makes and models.

\nPrimary Responsibilities will include, (but not limited to):
\nEnsure all site operational tasks are being completed under the correct Health & Safety paperwork and in a safe manner.
\nAssist Site with break downs as and when they occur.
\nCarry out routine maintenance to prevent downtime.
\nCompile technical reports following services and breakdowns.
\nLiaising with customers to agree parts requirements.
\nCompleting customer breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner.
\nCompleting customer equipment servicing and testing.
\nAssist on plant installations when required.
\nResolve on-site issues occurring during installations when required.
\nCompile lists of refurbishment requirements prior to plant removal / re-installation.
\nLiaise with Service team to resolve any ongoing site operational / technical issues.
\nAssist in site operator awareness training to optimise plant performance.

\nQualifications, Skills and Knowledge Required:
\nRelevant Engineering qualifications.
\nCSCS Safe pass (non essential)
\nDriving license. (essential)
\nVehicle Maintenance.
\nPrevious Field Service Plant Fitter/Engineer experience essential
\nExperience of servicing construction equipment essential.
\nThe candidate will have all the relevant qualifications and a minimum of 5 years experience within the mechanical engineering industry with good knowledge in hydraulics, electrics and engine.
